Where to get contraceptives
Access to contraception varies from country to country and depends on your chosen method. In most countries contraceptive methods have to be prescribed by a doctor. The age at which you can start getting contraception also varies, as does payment requirements. Usually, you can get contraception through your regular doctor, specialist clinics such as a family planning clinic, health centres and pharmacies. You should therefore check local information sources to find out the best place for you to gain access to contraception.
